happy Friday everyone! finally today is over… and i’m sure a lot of people are at the faculty talent show right now. wahhh! how fun!
today we had our hamlet final essay, which was the “closet interview” scene with Hamlet and Gertrude. What methods did Hamlet use to convince his mother that her decision to marry Claudius was wrong? How was the essay? i just remembered i didn’t turn in the extra credit puzzle of the week. darn.
Remember: Hamlet final on Monday! And choose three quotes from Hamlet and analyze them? I’m actually not sure what we’re supposed to do, so if anyone can please clarify what we’re supposed to do with the quotes that would be very helpful. Oh, and choose a book for the research project!

Hey Period 5,
Today we had an in class essay. The essay was based on Hamlet’s monologue from Act three scene four. Hamlet’s purpose in his monologue was to persuade his mother Gertrude that she made a very foolish and unwise decision in marrying Claudius. Other than the essay we did not do anything else.
Homework: Due Monday
1. Pick two of your favorite quotes from Hamlet and explain/write why you chose them.
2. Study for Hamlet Final.
Reminder:
1. Start deciding which book you will read for your research report/project.
2. Tomorrow if you go to Jamaba Juice (on Katella Ave near Costco) 20% of your entire purchase will be returned to LAHS ACS and all of the proceeds will be given to Mrs. Buffehr, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer

@Adam Stromlund, right. I actually wanted to be able to choose the colors, but I can’t do that it in its current version. I like the way that it creates boxes, though. I think that is visually pleasing.
@Tricia, why did you include the food pics? Is that a visualizing strategy?
