Period 4

Well, this was really late due to the fact that I can never get Mr. Eldridge’s email correctly

Anyways, today started off as a normal Friday with the timed write chaos but there wasn’t any (YES!)
* People were in a mad scramble to turn in their Scarlet Letter essays
* Michelle added to the chaos screaming about a staple in her finger and yelling “pull it out!” while Krigmont shouted “That’s what she said.”
* Steven said the stapler ran out of staples and asked Eldridge for some but Eldridge expected him to go digging around in his desk for some
* Theme of the Day: Procrastination and why you shouldn’t procrastinate
    * Several reasons: increases weight gain because stress creates cortisol (but you can just take the special pill for it), can’t concentrate, and your memory decays
    * Coffee’s caffeine is good if on a low level or else it drives you out
    * Monster/Red Bull causes adrenal system to rush and increases highs, but the bigger they are the harder they fall.
    * Anthony said if you rub your clavicle you get an adrenaline rush, which didn’t work for anyone else

Finally we switched to Sir Thomas Browne
    * 2 main topics: Nature and God
    * many metaphors as is all scripture
    *pronouns were challenging

And the bell rang as soon as Eldridge said that we should all wear scarlet P’s for Procrastination

* on a random note: Sean wasn’t as crazy today as he failed to make it on my notes of random outbursts.

Period 5

Sorry its late, i sent it to the wrong address‏.

So today we learned many things.  Stress = bad, which leads to a fight or flight response. We had another lecture on procrastination and mr Eldridge cracked a lame joke on how we would have scarlet p’s.  Then Rini started talking about how people should have oven mitts that had “legita” on them so they would be “legitamits”.  Dreams preserve memories.  Bros are stupid, and eldridge hated on usc.  ryan cady needs to stop talking, and we learned about john dunn.  Being involved with others makes the gravity of death profound, and death is a translation from the physical to spiritual realm.  To Dunn, affliction = treasure.  Everything relates to the spirit, and nature equals a manuscript.
