Period 4
Period 5
Today seemed to go by rather quickly, to me at least. We started off with Mr. Eldridge going over the book reports and questions his subjects had regarding said book reports. He also went over the whole dialectical journal thing and how it should not slow down our reading too much or be excruciatingly tedious so long as we do it right. Mr. Eldridge placed great emphasis on the necessity to continue reading (or start reading) our outside read books over the turkey break and other breaks and not to save it to the last minute as with everything else. We then got the rest of the period to duke it out mentally with with a seemingly endless supply of Scarlet Letter questions, although the little encouragements at the bottoms of the pages were a comforting touch. And then we left to enjoy the long weekend. Huzzah!
