I had wished for this day to come…but I never thought my prayers would be fulfilled.
The book actually wasn’t too bad. It was just quite confusing and a tad boring with its focus on description rather than action. Though I assume that has something to do with Hawthorne being a transcendentalist.

I actually really liked The Scarlet Letter except the questions and vocabulary (that I always wrote down but was never on the test) kind of made me want to shoot myslef. But all in all, The Scarlet Letter was entertaining.

No vocab this time, wooo!
Those always take me ridiculously long for some reason.

Yup, I agree with Kolkin and Carfmaster.
The book wasn’t bad. I actually enjoyed reading it.
But I’m still worried about the test! =/

Didn’t Hawthorne semi-hate the transcendentalists?
I actually really liked the Scarlet Letter, but I don’t really have a reason why even though I probably should.

Looks like you’re in the minority, @Nicolette.
Nature is really good. You’ll love it. It’s what’s up next!

ha actually the book was redundant
obviously, hawthorne did not have the bedford reader to point out that TEDious detail does not actually translate to better writing
