You can see I’ve been playing with the format. Our blog has so much information added to it so quickly, I thought that we just needed a clearer way of laying it all out.
So I’ve increased the columns to 4–I know I can see things more clearly now. I hope you can, too. I added an email subscription box. There are also RSS feed links under the Meta tab. If you know how to use these feeds, they can be helpful for keeping up on what’s happening. I also moved the Progressive Story over to its own page, so it will always be easily accessible, rather than quickly scrolling off the screen. I’ve also added a link for your AERIES portal. I’ve also begun adding tags, these are like subjects that are mentioned in your post. Eventually, once there are enough tags they should begin to change size with their frequency.
Are there other things you would like to see? Leave a comment and I’ll try to see what I can do.

Hi Mr. Eldridge, just some constructive criticism: I saw periods 4 and 5 daily scribes were combined and I don’t know about everyone else but I like when they were separate cuz now no one knows which scribe people are responding to when they post comments. Also, I can’t find the link to go back to the home page; you might wanna make it more clear or add it in if it is indeed omitted right now.

Actually, I thought it was a great idea having periods 4 and 5 combined for every post. Now, the homepage isn’t so cluttered with a separate post for each period, and when someone posts his or her scribe late, everything’s not scrambled out of order like it would be under the old system. Now, everything’s much easier to find-just go to the date and find the period. Besides, the thing about not knowing which period you’re replying to is a moot point anyway, because you can always address the post to either period 4 or 5.
All in all, woo new format.

This new format is great. You can find all the different things on the blog really easily with the columns separated in this way. One suggestion though, is to make the column with “New Stuff” larger or shorten the titles because all the words and numbers for the dates kinda meld in with each other.

Mr. Eldridge has the power of the force! just curious, do people pick these bizare geometric shapes that appear by their name or are they just random. If so, how can i change mine, becuase it scares me.

I’m pretty sure that the little picture things next to everyones names are related to what email address you type it. If you put it in caps or lowercase I’ve had different geometric things.

the new format is way cooler than the other one, the previous blog was just so bland. Eldrizzle just pulled andEmeril and went “BAM” on the new page. Plus it is much easier to find all of the Bedford stuff. Eldrizzle needs to buy a new couch or something because the one he has now reeks of asiago.

When you said that repeated tags would eventually get bigger, I had no idea that they’d get that big…
It seems a little excessive for now, but I’m sure that the sizes will even out (not tons of tiny tags and a giant ZACHGLASSER) soon (hopefully).
