Elizabeth’s scribe notes for …
tuesday March 18, 2008
-Eldridge arrived promptly at 6:55am
-need at least a 7 and 66% to get a 4 on the ap test
-don’t shoot for minimums, they become maximums
-AUTHOR # 1
has solid paragraphs
tells us tone
identifies pathos, uses substantial amount of quotes
*paraphrase=in your own words
-you can manipulate the quotes but don’t change the meaning
slippery slope=domino theory= one thing touched, then they all start falling down
JULIAN EDUARDO JIMENEZ DIED TODAY AT 7:11AM

(policemen came to announce his gruesome internal bleeding death)
infelicities=wrong word in wrong place
AUTHOR #3
wrong logic; Joan was not captured -> was not discussed in prompt
-you need to work on grammer and spelling because that distracts the reader from your point
-read what you wrote
- this week we need to start to evaluating our writing
“use those who are tough on you, so that you can become better”
I have posted these notes knowing full well they aren’t mine and do not accept any credit for them at all… unless it’s dome extra credit for good will towards my fellow man.
