well first I would like to apologize for this being in so late, I was having difficulties posting this. Having done that, Wednesday 11/28/07:
-by 6:45 only 3/4 of the class were there
-the detail worksheet was passed out and some students began right away
-there was a lot of talking going on
-Mr. Eldridge entered the class around 6:50 and the talking ceased (for a bit)
- Mr. Eldridge led a class discussion based on the similarities between public buildings and jails.
-he mentioned UCI and the fact that a building was constructed with no windows, on one of the walls, whatsoever so that the students would not be distracted by the people outside in the courtyard.
-(this whole discussion evolved just to show students that thinking is a way of NOT being bored)
-a nature quiz was then passed out
-then we reviewed nature
-the bell rang and class was over
