We started the day off with a Quiz on Chapters 1-3 of the Scarlet Letter.

Oxymoron is a contradiction.

Macabre- morbid fascination

Euphemism- inoffensive word or phrase to avoid unpleasant reality i.e. ex 3!

Anaphora- Repetition of same word or group of words at the beginning of context

We turned in worksheets from Wednesday.

Chapters 4-6 of Scarlet Letter due this Wednesday. Keep up on reading and reading assignments.
