Daily Scribe Monday, 10/29/2007 (Per.3)
Beginning of Class:
9:51- All graded work was passed back to the class
9:56- Mr. Eldridge passes out a sign-up sheet for conferences based on out outside reading books
9:59- Tara takes a bite of her hotdog bread PB&J sandwich
10:03- Cistern is an artificial reservoir; stores water underground
The class begins discussion based on the imagery worksheet
10:06- Tara says, “Stores water under water”. Answering to what is a reservoir .
After that discussion, Mr. Eldridge moves on to how the woman in the story would be playing with her hair
10:15- The class discussion moves on to reviewing our in class essays.
Throughout this, Mr. Eldridge asks the class questions and reviews what all these types of words are describing
10:20- The class begins to review each others essays
Along with having to review each others essay, the class had to do the workshop on writing until the end of class
