A Tribute to You–the best students on the web!
I just discovered that our blog was considered one of the most interesting on the World Wide Web. This was written about you guys:
The site with the most student involvement was by Mr. Brent Eldridge, http://brenteldridge.edublogs.org/. There were amazing conversations that included the students and it seemed as if everyday a student would write a recap of that day’s class.

So, not only do I love your work on here (as does Ms. Robinson), not only is Mr. Blackmore impressed (and Ms. Sepulveda and Mr. Wiedemann and Ms. Hamlin and…), but also people are noticing from all over the WWW.
Thanks for being the tops!

Let’s not get too egotistical here and slack off now that we’re recognized. So what if we’re totally awesome (excuse me, awe-inspiring), lets double that! It’s only been about three weeks, we have a whole year ahead of us!

Are people actually reading what we post in here??
That’s a very surprising and almost scary thought…

Double that, it’s way scarier than we think >.>

Yes, lots of people are reading and they are impressed! I’ve shown it to a number of teachers and administrators and they’re stoked. So keep it up, be yourselves–it’s really interesting. When you guys really get cooking I never want to see TV again!

Never want to see TV again? Wow, that’ll be an accomplishment! I wish i could find a way to stop watching TV =]. But now that students know that there are people all over the Internet reading our posts, I hope that they are careful of any information they let out about themselves. Watch what you post everyone.
Love,
Mother
Just kidding. I’m just watching out for everyone. -Kayla

Gosh, that’s creepy. To know what I say might be read by millions! Oh, the embarrassment and chastising I may face for sounding like the genius that I am. Mr. Eldridge, please stop making us blog!

I find it interesting that people around the world are reading our conversations with one another and either agreeing or disagreeing. On the other hand, i find it a bit disturbing that someone could be reading each and every one of our conversations. On that note, have you ever noticed just how many people you could be talking to at one time? Recently, i came across a Facebook Forum. It is not important as to what the topic was about but … About three seconds, after my comment on the forum was posted, i received 4 emails, then about 11 more after a minute, and so on notifying me of replies to my post. As you can see, i found it amazing that so many people in the world were looking at that forum all at once, in the sense that we were all connected in our thoughts.

Just think Anthony – you can use this as part of your world domination plan. Millions acess the internet everyday!

Maybe some Hollywood producer will read this and make a movie script about it. Maybe we’ll be like that one movie, Freedom Writers! All we need is a big obstacle to get by.
Or maybe it’s like the average high school football movie. Eldridge is the new coach from across town; we the discouraged team. We’re all eventually pulled together by his seemingly unfair strictness, then at the end we look back and it’s all worth it.
I think you can tell I just worked on homework for nine hours… my mind tends to wander.

i think its cool that lots of people will be able to read what we post here. they will be able to see what other students in another part of the world are thinking and discussing. this blog is also a place to show ones abilities while maintaining a sense of anonymousness.
i knew anthony would say something like that…
i accidentally posted this in the wrong section hahaha

HAHAH Joey yes!!! The score will be made for the purpose of the audience to weep with joy and hope. It will be the “inner city children with a tough exterior but with a heart of gold yearning to break free of their social barriers” cliche movie! We may even win an Oscar or too. I wholeheartedly believe this should be put into action immediately! Who has a camera and who is willing to act?……
